"Mecenat" refers to the activities by businesses to support arts and culture that can contribute to the enhancement of national competitiveness.

SILKROAD launched Mecenat activities from 2007 and has since then continued to sponsor fine arts groups such as the Universal Ballet and YMH Dance Company.
